The terms a “branded house” and a “house of brands” are used by marketers to describe the type of strategy a company will use when they are wanting to grow their reach. What is a branded house and a house of brands? Here is a quick definition for each:
Branded House: A company that uses the same logo mark and brand name but adds in the department or service to the company name.
House of Brands: A company that owns many other companies but each company is it’s own standalone brand and has it’s own brand assets.
